Introducing Attleboro Chiropractor
Dr. Robert S. Almeida
Hello, thank you for visiting ICAN Chiropracticís web site. I would be pleased to have a moment of your time to introduce myself to you. My name is Dr. Robert S. Almeida. I am the owner and treating physician here in Attleboro, MA.
If you are here reading and interacting with our web site you may be considering for the first time the use of chiropractic services for your health. It seems like only last week, although it has really been 22 years, since I discovered the fast pain relief chiropractic care offered me. My first experience with chiropractic care was after injuring my lower back at age 19 while cutting down, cording, and removing trees from the The Sugar Creek Condominiums. The true irony is these condos are right down the road from my office on Thatcher Street here in Attleboro, MA. I suffered for several days with lower back pain. Although, at the time of injury, I was an athlete and a young man, I was unable thought traditional medical approaches to gain relief from pain and dysfunction. That all changed when I took the step I hope you will indeed soon.
I was born and raised in Rhode Island. In my childhood I had the fortune to attend Mt. St. Charles Academy, where I was a part of a National Championship Ice Hockey Program. Later, I attended school at The University Of Connecticut, and finished my pre med and Chiropractic education at Cleveland Chiropractic College in Los Angeles, California. After becoming board certified in chiropractic in four states, I continued my education with one year in chiropractic sports therapy, and one year in chiropractic rehabilitation therapy. Still further, I attained a Diplomat with the American Academy of Pain Management, and later became a Fellow of the American Board of Disability Analysis.
I returned to New England in 1995, after briefly practicing in California and Arizona. I started practicing chiropractic in Attleboro in 1996. I have had the good fortune to help many patientís in Southern New England become pain free.
Since returning to my home, I have become a father to twin boys, and enjoyed living close to my family and friends. Although I no longer play ice hockey, I do live a healthy life style regularly exercising, eating healthy, and using chiropractic to live a better life.
I have been practicing chiropractic for over 16 years now, and I continue to persevere the same commitment to myself and my practice patients. To help all to live a better life and stay well. My concentration has and still is in fast relief of pain and symptoms, and further, the diagnosis and treatment of the cause of those symptoms, to insure my patientís live a better life and stay well.
I hope in the near future to meet you in person. I consider myself to be a good communicator, and a great listener. Please interact further in ICAN Chiropracticís website and contact our office staff or myself with any questions you have. I look forward to the opportunity to help, and teach you also to live a better life
